Jack Laydown In Favour of Independent Quebec

Jack Laydown bafflegabs to Quebec:
[...]
"The New Democratic Party believes that an asymmetrical federalism is the best way to combine the federal Canadian state with the reality of Quebec's national character," the resolution said. "This means that Quebec must have powers and a leeway that are more wide-ranging than the other entities making up the Canadian federation."
[...]

Translation:
"The NDP believes in telling you what you want to hear in exchange for your votes. You can be independent as long as you continue to have some pretend seats in Ottawa that we can use for our own political purposes? Deal?"

Let's have some plain-speaking here. What do you mean by national Jack? Surely, you misspoke yourself, and meant provincial didn't you? You can't suck and blow at the same time Jack, although we know you're trying.
