Words of Wisdom

A noted Canadian political figure published a while ago the following:
"We don't need commissions of inquiry: they don't change anything. The best tool for democratic change is a good, old-fashioned general election. Always has been, always will be."
Somewhere in the process, though, the people need to be informed. Not spun to, not lied to, not hoodwinked, not covered up, but informed. Voting based on propaganda can take a nasty turn. It's happened before. The result was unspeakable horror.
